Online Access to ETT-1 Refresher Training Self-Paced Learning Management System (LMS). All of the didactic portion of the course is completed online in the LMS. This includes recorded lectures, videos, quizzes, exams and interactive activities.
Textbook:
We are currently using Emergency Trauma Technician 2015 Edition for the ETT course. This book and our course includes the new National Education Standards (NES) that follow the new ETT scope of practice.
24 Hour Instructor Helpdesk:
Students can use email, live chat or the LMS chat system to communicate with instructors 24 hours a day. In cases where a student needs to speak to an instructor by phone, we will be happy to arrange a time to call you.
Skills Verification:
The final portion of the ETT Refresher course is the skills assessment. It is the student's responsibility to have skills sign off by an ETT Instructor.
COVID-19
We will be following the CDC’s recommended guidelines to keep our employees and students safe. In addition, we are taking the following precautions:
All workers will have their temperature taken before entering the building. Workers will sanitize and disinfect shared services frequently.
We encourage our students to wear masks or facial coverings, wash/sanitize their hands before coming to the building, and — most importantly — stay at home if they are feeling sick. The most important thing is to make sure we conduct training in a safe environment.
Meals:
All meals are the students' responsibility.
Clothing:
We will be spending a lot of time outdoors and we hope that you will want to enjoy some of the exciting outdoor activities when you are not in class. Hunting, fishing, wildlife adventures, kayaking, bear tours, sightseeing, and more. So be ready! The course will be held rain or shine, so participants should bring rain gear and warmer layers to account for unexpected cold or precipitation.
